The Build Breakdown
Truth and Honor Inc. is a nonprofit organization based out of Akron, Ohio that provides housing and other recovery services to Veterans. They asked PlumBum Content Creation to build them a website that was easy to navigate, listed the services they offered, and was easily found on Google. Truth and Honor Inc. also wanted us to create a pathway in which donors could donate online. We were able to build a website that met those needs and added a few features that we thought would be most helpful.
In-Depth Look At Non-Profit Programs
Truth and Honor Inc. knew it was important to have their programs highlighted on the website so we made sure to create a page that would help do just that.
Their Services page houses a list of some of their most popular programs with a description about each.
Some of these programs include: computer classes, addiction recovery, woodworking, and gardening.
These programs are clearly stated with engaging photos so both program members and donors can see exactly what the Truth & Honor Inc. organization does.
Listed Services
For anyone getting ready to join a recovery program it can be scary. With that being said, Truth & Honor Inc. tried to ease the worries of its participants by mapping out some of the program highlights on the home page.
This too shows donors what exactly their donations are funding. The photos are real life photos taken from the program and capture exactly what life in the program is like.
Clearly Defined Vision
Truth & Honor Inc. is a non-profit that runs off of donations. In that, they wanted to make sure their vision for the program was being communicated directly on their website.
PlumBum Content Creation made sure that the vision was clearly stated on the Home page as well as a link to more information about their “Home Ownership Program.” We believe this will help them gain more donations in the long run and make sure each entering program participant knows what the organization is about.
